3M execs scouting for ways to expand in Alberta
Abstract:
The 3M team's agenda this week included meetings with Alberta Advanced Education & Technology, the Alberta Research Council and the National Institute of Nanotechnology, as well as a dinner with key customers at a downtown hotel, and a tour of Syncrude's oilsands operations.
"I think there's a great possibility we can dream of Alberta becoming a high-tech centre, or the best energy centre, or advanced materials centre, not just nanotech.
"That's what is so exciting."
