Home > Press > Nanotech Outreach Workshop: Communicating nanotech to the public: How are you going to do that?
Abstract:
What would a good documentary on nanotechnology look like? What is important when talking with kids on nanotechnology and science in general? What does nanotech mean to creative designers? What are the best practices for science centers? What is the role of language in nanotech communication? How can you improve your presentation skills? Or else, what works and what doesn't when it comes down to nanotech outreach and science communication?
Find it out at the Nanotech Outreach Workshop, on May 7-8 2007 in Leuven, Belgium. More than 20 international field experts with various backgrounds and interests will gather to present their views on nanotech outreach. Keynote speakers for this remarkable workshop will be Mireya Mayor from National Geographic and Kristoff Leue, the man behind the innovative cross-medial project.
