Home > Press > The Superlongevity Revolution Has Arrived Says Futurist on KNX-AM
Abstract:
Would you want to live to 150 years old? How about 200? And what if you could live to those ripe old ages with the health, vitality, and body of a 30-year-old?
Sociologist and futurist Dr. Michael G. Zey, author of the forthcoming Ageless Nation (New Horizons Press Books/Kensington), appearing on KNX-AM in Los Angeles February 3, 2007, described some of the breakthroughs in genetic engineering, nanotechnology, and caloric restriction research that are bringing us ever closer to achieving what he labels the "Superlongevity Revolution". We might even be on the "threshold of immortality," Zey said.

We might even be on the "threshold of immortality," Zey said.
On his forthcoming appearances on KNX-AM (February 17 and March 3, 2007) which KNX re-broadcasts throughout each week, Dr. Zey will discuss how radical life extension will dramatically change every aspect of our lives, including our careers and marriages.
Speaking from his offices in Morristown, NJ, Zey stated that superlongevity will change how people perceive the future and their role in it. "People will become more serious about planning for the future," Michael Zey said, "when they comprehend that they will most likely be living on the planet for the next century or two."
