Zimbabwe: Mujuru Urges Scientists to Help Solve Challenges
Abstract:
This, Prof Chetsanga said, led to production inefficiencies, low technical literacy that hurt product quality, compromising the innovation chain and poor competitiveness on the global market.
Future challenges for knowledge-based development included embracing nanotechnology, stem cell research, energy research and unlocking value in ICT innovations, robotics and building confidence for inventions.
Nanotechnology is an emerging field of applied science and technology covering a broad range of topics to cut costs through the development of smaller units of objects.
