Center for Critical Zone Research seminars set
Abstract:
2:43 p.m., Jan. 31, 2007--The schedule for the spring seminar series cosponsored by UD's Center for Critical Zone Research and the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry is set. Selected topics and guest speakers are as follows:
"Chemical, Physical, and Structural Properties of Iron-Oxide Nanoparticles," by R. Lee Penn, department of chemistry, University of Minnesota, noon, Tuesday, Feb. 27, 102 Delaware Biotechnology Institute;
"Environmental Nanoscience, a Subject the U.S. Senate is Even Interested In," by Michael F. Hochella Jr., department of geosciences, Virginia Tech, 1:25 p.m., Friday, April 20, 132 Townsend Hall;
