Lessons in Leverage: New horizons for new X Prize head
Abstract:
The X Prize Foundation has a new man at the helm, and a broader mission. Rather than simply offer challenge prizes of $10 million for the best rocket—as it did in 2004 when it awarded the prize to Mojave Aerospace Ventures for its Space Ship One design—it's targeting more technology frontiers.
In March, it expects to unveil new prizes to stir up more interest in the energy, clean water, education, nanotech, and other fronts.
