Oregon's Wu to head key science panel
Abstract:
A five-term Oregon congressman representing the high-tech region around Portland has been named to head a key science panel.
The research subcommittee oversees programs at the National Science Foundation and other U.S. research agencies. It has also helped shape government-wide R&D initiatives such as a recent National Nanotechnology Initiative.
