Abstract:
ECNext was recognized by Tech Columbus as Central Ohio's Outstanding Technology Team Under 50 People during the TopCAT award ceremonies Thursday evening.

The annual event recognizes technology leaders from central Ohio in 12 categories. Other winners included organizations and individuals focused on nanotechnology, chemistry and medical research.

Springer explained that the company manages more than one hundred million pieces of e-content, with a staff of less than 50 people.

"We're truly a turnkey solution for publishers," she explained. "We make content visible in search engines, market content to brand loyalists and new customers, host and deliver content and provide the e-commerce platform necessary to manage a large volumes of online content sales."

TopCAT candidates must be nominated by an outside party and complete an application for the award. Each application is reviewed by the TopCAT panel and finalists are invited to the awards ceremony. ECNext was a finalist in three TopCAT categories.
