Intel plan emboldens investors in Vietnam
Abstract:
"Vietnamese-Americans can do for Vietnam what overseas Chinese and Indians did for their countries when they returned back home," said Khe Nguyen, who heads a government unit that conducts research and development in high-tech sectors Vietnam wants to develop, including semiconductor, nanotechnology and biotechnology. Nguyen, a materials scientist, is himself a Vietnamese-American and a Silicon Valley transplant.
