Organizers of the Nano & Giga forum in Arizona (NGC2007) make final call for technical papers and invite exhibitors
Posted on October 24, 2006
The organizers of "Nano and Giga Challenges in Electronics and Photonics"
(NGC2007) conference in March 2007 in Arizona have announced their final
call for technical papers.
The abstract submission deadline is set up for November 1st.
Two Nobel Prize Laureates, Nicolaas Bloembergen from University of
Arizona and John Polyani from the University of Toronto, are among more
than 70 invited speakers, which include highly ranked scientists and
business leaders from academia, national labs and corporate R & D centers
around the globe. The organizers expect about 500 participants and guests
from 40+ countries will take part in the meeting. Interdisciplinary
research aimed to bridge advanced CMOS technology and future nano,
molecular and bioelectronics is the primary focus of the conference.
Besides an exciting technical program, the organizers also plan
tutorial lectures, hands-on training sessions in nanoelectronic materials
and device characterization, as well as business sessions and an
exhibition focused on innovative products and seed technologies. Business
leaders are encouraged to attend the meeting along with the technical
personnel to obtain a first hand review of the nanoelectronics and
photonics R & D status and future trends. Nanotech innvestors may consider
an opportunity for reviewing proposals on spot by taking advantage of
presence of the first class experts from all over the world.
