Local business cooperates with WU on nanotechnology

Abstract:
Washington University researchers Gregory Lanza and Samuel Wickline partnered with Kereos, a local St. Louis company, to develop treatments for cancer and blocked arteries using nanotechnology. The original discovery licensed to Kereos involves the use of nanoparticles approximately one-billionth of a meter in size for imaging and targeting drug delivery.
