Chile science week shows new materials tech
Abstract:
From fireproof wood to synthetic skin, the latest innovations in materials science will be on public display beginning Monday, the launch of Chile’s seventh annual Science Week.
Schools, libraries and museums across the country will host activities for the young and the young at heart. The most ambitious project – dubbed “1,000 Scientists, 1,000 classrooms” – will bring scientists straight to the classroom to discuss nanotechnology and other advancements in “New Materials,” this year’s theme.
