Abstract:
The Viennese-based MAK Center presents Modernist Landmark Transformed into Genetics Lab by Artists, Architects, an exhibition exploring the integration of recent developments in information technologies and the natural sciences - especially genetics into cutting-edge architecture. The exhibit explores the evolution of the concept of domesticity in “genetic modifications” of a home's structure, interior and grounds. This includes nanotechnology, climatology, cell physiology, astronomy, robotics and algorithms.
