Italian eyes new areas of bilateral cooperation
Abstract:
"Italy leads in many fields in the science and technology research sectors such as nanotechnology, new materials and astrophysics just to name a few," Leggeri said. "There is a lot to develop with Korea in terms of bilateral cooperation among research centers, universities and firms."
(Ed.'s note: I hate to contradict an ambassador, but in this case, he's wrong, at least about the nanotechnology quote. Italy may lead in one or more tiny subsectors, but many other countries can rightly claim the lead in the bulk (no pun intended) of the nanoscale materials advances and products.)
