TRN launches Nano Lab Watch

Boston, MA | Posted on August 17, 2006

Technology Research News announces the launch of Nano Lab Watch, a monthly newsletter devoted to news and analysis of nanotechnology research.

The newsletter provides a unique perspective on nanotechnology by focusing on research. "Nanotechnology has tremendous potential to affect our lives in coming years, and right now the action is in the world's laboratories," said Eric Smalley, editor of Nano Lab Watch.

The newsletter leverages TRN's six years of experience providing original news reporting and analysis of nanotech research to provide vital intelligence about cutting-edge developments that are influencing product plans, investment strategies and government policy in medicine, electronics, computing, manufacturing and energy.

Each issue includes analysis of research in an area like smart materials, drug delivery or carbon nanotubes; an interview with a leading researcher in the field; a roundup of major research results from all areas of nanotechnology; and vital statistics of a nation's nanotechnology initiative.

Upcoming Nano Lab Watch issues will focus on DNA nanotechnology, data storage, nanophotonics, sensors, health and environmental impact, smart materials, integration, drug delivery, power generation, directed self-assembly, nanomechanics, and medical diagnostics.

A sample issue is available at www.nanolabwatch.com. The first monthly issue will be October 2006. One-year subscriptions are priced at $229 and two-year subscriptions are $399. Charter subscribers who sign up before September 15th will receive introductory pricing of $149 for one-year subscriptions and $259 for two-year subscriptions.
