Peptide nanotubes lead to coaxial nanocables
Abstract:
Researchers at Tel Aviv University and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, both in Israel, have made coaxial metal nanocables by using self-assembled peptide nanotubes as a template. The team coated the peptide nanotubes with gold and filled their cores with silver.
