Dr. David Lemberg, Executive Producer of "Science and Society" announces the show schedule for Wednesday, 07/19/06, 1PM to 2PM Pacific.
Of particular interest to Nanotechnology Now readers are interviews with:
- Dr. Michael McCabe, Executive Director, University of Dayton Research Institute
- Dr. Bruce Dale, Professor of Chemical Engineering, Michigan State University
- Dr. Christopher De Pree, Associate Professor of Physics & Astronomy, and Director, Bradley Observatory, Agnes Scott College
Dr. McCabe will discuss research at UDRI including aeronautics, energy and environmental engineering, and advanced materials and nanotechnology.
Dr. Dale will discuss the intersection between chemical engineering and the life sciences, and the environmentally sustainable conversion of plant matter to industrial products.
Dr. De Pree will discuss radio astronomy, early phases of massive star formation, and astronomical disaster scenarios.
