NIST Grant to UM Boosts Nanotechnology Collaboration
Abstract:
The Commerce Department's National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and the University of Maryland have joined in a new cooperative program to further their efforts to develop measurement technologies and other new tools that support the creation of new nanotechnologies. As part of the program, NIST made a $1.5 million competitively awarded grant to the university that is renewable annually for up to five years.
