'One voice' for economic development
Abstract:
The merger of the Ottawa Centre for Research and Innovation (OCRI) and the Ottawa Life Sciences Council will enable more effective and efficient representation of the national capital's "knowledge-based" companies, leaders of the economic-development agencies said yesterday. "With growing convergence of communications, nanotechnology, life sciences, environmental, wireless, it really became time to mesh all the knowledge-based industries into one organization," Ms. Weinstein said.
