Dr. David Lemberg, Executive Producer of "Science and Society" announces the show schedule for Wednesday, 06/07/06, 1PM to 2PM Pacific.
Of particular interest to Nanotechnology Now readers are interviews with:
- Dr. Terri Stewart, Lead, Environmental Biomarkers Initiative, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory
- Dr. Vincent Pieribone, co-author, “Aglow in the Dark”, and Associate Fellow, The John B. Pierce Laboratory
- Dr. Barbara Tobias and Dr. Nancy Elder, Associate Professors of Family Medicine, University of Cincinnati, and Amber Lucero-Criswell, Associate Curator of Education, Cincinnati Art Museum
Dr. Stewart will discuss environmental biomarkers, public health, and national security, and predicting ecosystem damage and change.
Dr. Pieribone will discuss his new book, “Aglow in the Dark,” and the applications of bioluminescence to military operations, forensic science, and possible interfaces between man and machine.
Dr. Tobias, Dr. Elder, and Ms. Lucero-Criswell will discuss The Art of Observation, a partnership with the Cincinnati Art Museum to teach observation, description, and interpretation skills to medical students.
