Nanotech work wins big praise

Abstract:
If local business executives didn't already know why nanotechnology is important to the Capital Region's future, they do now. At least those who attended the Center for Economic Growth's 10th annual technology awards luncheon Friday at The Desmond Hotel & Conference Center in Colonie should.

The keynote speaker was Jack Uldrich, president of The NanoVeritas Group, a nanotechnology consulting firm in Minneapolis. He is also the author of "The Next Big Thing is Really Small," a book published in 2003 about how nanotechnology will change business.

(Ed.'s note: The Next Big Thing is Really Small: How Nanotechnology Will Change the Future of Your Business, and the just-released Investing In Nanotechnology: Think Small, Win Big)
