Pender Award: Dr. Dresselhaus
Abstract:
The Harold Pender Award, the highest honor bestowed by Penn’s School of Engineering and Applied Science was awarded to Dr. Mildred Dresselhaus, Institute Professor of Physics and Electrical Engineering. She was recognized for her pioneering contributions and leadership in the field of carbon-based nanostructures and nanotechnology, and for promoting opportunities for women in science and engineering.
