Dr. David Lemberg, Executive Producer of "Science and Society" announces the show schedule for Wednesday, 04/19/06, 1PM to 2PM Pacific.
Of particular interest to Nanotechnology Now readers are interviews with:
- Dr. Kim Griest, Professor of Physics, University of California, San Diego
- Dr. Wendy Eisner, Assistant Professor, Department of Geography, University of Cincinnati
- Dr. Anand Gadre, Assistant Professor, College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering, University of Albany–State University of New York
Dr. Griest will discuss dark matter and dark energy, gravitational lensing, and the NASA Space Interferometry Mission.
Dr. Eisner will discuss her research in the Arctic tundra in Alaska, Siberia, and Greenland, long-term spatial and temporal patterns of vegetation succession and climate, global warming, and the impact of humans on the environment.
Dr. Gadre will discuss micro-electro-mechanical systems, bionanotechnology, and biomedical applications including noninvasive nanoscale sensors and drug delivery systems.
