Smart Imaging takes on VC funding
Abstract:
Software firm Smart Imaging Technologies Co. has received venture capital funding from Aegis Texas Venture Fund LP. Houston-based Smart Imaging, which specializes in nanoscale image analysis, will use the funds to expand sales and marketing operations in an effort to capitalize on growth opportunities in the nanotechnology, biotechnology and material science fields.
