No future in traditional farming, futurist says
Abstract:
One of Canada's leading futurists has a grim warning for farmers – change or get out of farming. "We're going to be able to grow polyester in plants," he said. "We're going to be able to grow molecular monofilaments for nanotechnology … extraordinarily strong materials out of plants."
