$18 billion budget gets Senate OK
Abstract:
The state Senate on Wednesday approved an amended $17.85 billion supplemental budget for the year that would restore aid for disabled children, strengthen courthouse security and open a Georgia trade office in China. Among the other highlights of the state Senate budget plan: $5 million for nanotechnology research at Georgia Tech and Emory University.
