Scientists don't doubt nano future
Abstract:
A revolution is underway in the world of science and it concerns something that could soon become part of our everyday lives. Nanoscience - the ability to harness tiny particles the size of an atom - is no longer in the realm of science fiction. Scientists are using nanotechnology to try to build a quantum computer, a super computer, more powerful than any in use today. And while critics have warned that the rush to use nanoparticles is not without its risks, scientists say that's outweighed by the potential benefits.
(Ed.'s note: it is generally accepted that the nanoscale is 1 - 100 nanometers; nanoscience encompasses that entire range, not just "tiny particles the size of an atom.")
