State investment may bring millions to Tech
Abstract:
If the proposal passes, Virginia Tech would receive building construction costs in the amount of $13.5 million for the Institute for Critical Technologies and Applied Sciences and $3.1 million for an infectious disease laboratory. The proposal also includes money for research in the areas of host pathogen environmental interactions as well as advanced biomaterials and nanotechnology.
