Ehrlich proposes $2.5M boost for nanotech research
Abstract:
The decision by Maryland Gov. Robert Ehrlich to fund research in nanotechnology with $2.5 million in taxpayer money -- unveiled this week as part of a $170 million slate of tech initiatives -- is the product of exquisite timing as much as the belief that the science will yield medical breakthroughs and state employment gains.
