Nanotechnology: Tiny Gadgets Attack Cancer

Abstract:
Imagine tiny devices that can seek out cancer wherever it hides, move through the outer cancer cell walls and deliver a destructive drug or blast of radiation.

That’s the kind of next-generation medicine researchers around the world are seeking through the emerging field of nanotechnology − the science of building “gadgets” up to 10,000 times smaller than human cells.
