California would do well to jump on nanotechnology bandwagon
Abstract:
With world-class universities, technology centers and high venture capital investments, California already is well positioned to compete in the new nanotechnology industry. But we shouldn't sit back and allow other states or nations to gain a competitive advantage on us. With most researchers and semiconductor analysts predicting a 10-15 year span between today's research and nanotechnology's commercial explosion, now is the time to make that investment.
