Battling kids' brain cancer
Abstract:
In their approach to finding and treating brain tumors in children, a team of Seattle researchers is thinking small. Extremely small. The focus of their research is a bit of matter so minuscule it takes 100,000 of them to equal the thickness of a sheet of paper. But on their tiny backs, these nanoparticles may one day carry the best chance of surviving and living a normal life that children diagnosed with brain tumors have ever known.
