Nanotech firm: Taxes nullify state attraction efforts
Abstract:
While state and Oakland County officials travel the world in search of non-automotive technology ventures to lead Michigan into the future, a small nanotechnology company in Troy has a simple suggestion: lower business taxes.
Rather than seeking companies in supposedly emerging fields, such as life sciences or nanotech, RHK Technologies Inc. President Adam Kollin said state and local officials would be better off to lower taxes on businesses and make Michigan a more business friendly environment.
