Delays keep Kim Building from full capacity

Abstract:
Staff at Microelectronics Fabrication Laboratory, the centerpiece of the university’s nanotechnology efforts, expect lab sections of university courses to be held at its clean room by the spring semester, said Jim O’Connor, director of FabLab. A clean room is a dust-free area used for work on tiny technology. Applications include sensors and semiconductors on the micro and nano level.
