Nathan Tinker Joins Antenna Group Public Relations

San Francisco, CA | October 12, 2005

High-tech public relations agency Antenna Group, Inc., announced today that NanoBusiness Alliance co-founder Nathan Tinker, PhD, has joined the company as director of Antenna's newly formed New York office. In this role, Dr. Tinker will lead the company's East Coast office and direct the New Industrial Technologies practice, which includes nanotechnology, cleantech, advanced materials and energy.

"Nathan is a tremendous addition to our team," said Antenna Group president and principal, Melody Haller. "His strategic expertise is a great fit and this new location will be convenient for our Eastern-US new-industrial clients."

Dr. Tinker brings more than a decade of experience working with the leading nanotechnology companies and organizations. In 2001, Dr. Tinker co-founded the NanoBusiness Alliance, the trade association of the nanotechnology industry, where he oversaw all communications, public relations and industry development initiatives. Prior to founding the Alliance, Dr. Tinker was director, Business Intelligence Bureau, at Niehaus Ryan Wong Public Relations. He is author of more than two dozen reports and articles on the nanotechnology marketplace for public and private sector clients around the globe, including the governments of Taiwan, Japan, Germany, Canada and the US, and has frequently been quoted as an industry expert by Associated Press, Wall Street Journal, Time Magazine, Small Times, Red Herring, and other leading publications. He holds a PhD from Fordham University in New York City.

"Antenna Group recognized the nanotechnology opportunity years earlier than most other public relations firms," said Nathan Tinker, "and I am proud to be a part of the company's expansion. Fundamentally redesigned industrial technologies will be the cornerstone of the next manufacturing wave, and I look forward to working with Antenna clients in this emerging field."
