Law Firm Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt Expands in US Bank Centre Tower in Downtown Seattle

October 03, 2005

Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt has expanded its Seattle office space to 21,031 square feet in the US Bank Centre. The recent expansion includes a new interior build-out designed to mirror the firm’s corporate brand throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Schwabe has been a tenant in the US Bank Centre, which is managed by Bentall Capital US, for more than 16 years. The office space expansion deal was negotiated by Dan Swift of the Portland office of CB Richard Ellis. “Relationships with long term tenants are a priority for Bentall,” noted Betsy Sutherland, vice president and regional manager of Bentall. “Schwabe is demonstrating its commitment to the downtown Seattle community by staking a bigger claim in the US Bank Centre. We are pleased to have them as a tenant for many more years to come.”

The Seattle office has seen tremendous growth over the past several years, requiring that the firm acquire more space. Headquartered in Portland, Ore., the firm has also recently expanded its offices in Vancouver, Wash., and Bend, Ore.

“We’re extremely pleased that our firm’s success continues to intensify,” said Mark Long, managing partner at Schwabe. “Outgrowing our old office space seems like a telltale sign of this, and everyone is excited about what’s in store for the future.”

The US Bank Centre is located at 1420 5th Avenue, Seattle, Wash. 98101. Schwabe’s office is on the 29th and 30th floors.
