NY's support for biotech research trails rivals' efforts
Abstract:
Nanotechnology is a better investment than biotechnology to New York state, an attitude that is no more evident than in the Capital Region.
While the state's investment in the University at Albany's Center for Excellence in Nanotechnology has grown to more than $500 million, the state contributed less than a tenth of that amount to three leading Capital Region biotechnology projects.
