Governor promotes biosciences
Abstract:
Northwest's joint venture with Ventria Bioscience led to construction plans for the $23 million facility, slated for completion in spring 2006. Ventria is in the process of moving to the Northwest campus from its headquarters in Sacramento, Calif.
Phase one of the construction consists of a 90,000-square-foot facility with two connected buildings, one for Ventria and one for various academic programs relating to bioscience and nanotechnology.
