Knoxville comes knocking at nano
Abstract:
A powerhouse group of Knoxville, Tenn.-area business leaders has formed a $35 million venture fund called Innovation Valley Partners that will invest in early-stage high-tech companies nationwide. The new fund is affiliated with Battelle Ventures LP, an established $150 million venture fund based in Princeton, N.J., that was created to commercialize technologies from national labs managed or co-managed by the Battelle Memorial Institute, including Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
