KGMU prepares to reap fruit of research with IIT-K
Abstract:
Soon the doctors at the King George’s Medical University (KGMU) will be developing drugs that would directly target the cancerous cells and would have minimum toxicity and side-effects. They are also working for early screening of the genetic diseases. Professor MLB Bhatt, Department of Radiotherapy, has prepared plans for the development of nanotechnology, targeted therapies and gene therapy.
