VC View: Live Healthier and Longer

Abstract:
Norm Wu: In parts One, Two and Three of this series on the nanotechnology investment landscape, I covered a broad range of opportunities – from short-term instrumentation and advanced materials to medium-term sensors, displays and semiconductors to technologies in development that will someday address the world's insatiable demand for energy in a cleaner, more efficient and renewable way than the current combustion of fossil fuels can.

I believe, however, that one of the greatest contributions that nanotechnologists will make to mankind lies in yet another area – helping us live healthier and longer.
