  • Dr. John D. Hazle, Professor and Chair, Department of Imaging Physics, The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center.

    Dr. Hazle’s research at M. D. Anderson focuses on the development of novel MRI techniques to monitor noninvasive or minimally invasive thermal therapies. He is currently leading a collaborative team comprised of M. D. Anderson researchers and engineers at Rice University that is investigating how specialized nanoparticles - known as nanoshells - could become a future vehicle to accurately deliver targeted therapies: the newest breed of cancer drugs.
