U of M professor, renowned physicist, dies

Abstract:
Anatoly Larkin, a University of Minnesota researcher whose work led to advances in the understanding of theoretical physics, has died. He was 72. The school said his research also was key to the study of one-dimensional systems and clusters that are used in the fields of nanoscience and nanotechnology.
