Latest ideas sprout at BIO Taiwan 2005

Abstract:
Some of the country's ingenious entrepreneurs and leading research institutes are showing off their latest innovations at BIO Taiwan 2005, a four-day exposition that serves up antibiotics-free fish, nano-silver toothpaste, and even poultry that lay "golden" eggs, show organizers announced yesterday.

Kicking off at the Taipei World Trade Center Hall 1 tomorrow, the technology fair will feature over 300 biomedical, medical devices, agriculture and fishery, "biofood," environmental, and cosmetics companies. At least 725 exhibition booths have been booked.
