France to double grant for industrial innovation
Abstract:
French Prime Minister Dominique de Villepin said yesterday that the government will double its grant for industrial research from 500m to 1bn euros ($1.23bn).
Villepin said the grant to the Industrial Innovation Agency would be doubled thanks to the sale of shares in France Telecom, and the increase would fund projects in the fields of solar energy, nanotechnology, biotechnology and bio-fuels.
