Governor's award winners
Abstract:
Imago Scientific Instruments Corp., a Madison company that aims to be the toolmaker for the nanotechnology age, won the Governor's Small Business Technology Transfer Award and $5,000. Imago sells a $2 million 3-D atom probe microscope based on research done at UW-Madison. The company says its microscope and other tools under development will help scientists develop the next generation of disc drives and memory chips.
