Driven to discover
Abstract:
For Jared S. Silvia, four years at the UW seemed to go by in a flash. "Knowing that graduation is in a week and a half is kind of a shock," said Silvia. A native of Richland, Wash. he entered the University in fall 2001. In that seemingly short time, Jared has done everything from conducting nanotechnology research to writing opinion articles for The Daily.
"No one knows for sure what nanotechnology will accomplish," said Silvia. "The potential for how it could be used medically and electronically could dramatically change our lives."
