Nanotechnology proves a big draw at NSTI conference

Abstract:
Last week saw more than 2,600 delegates converge on Anaheim, California. But they weren’t heading for the Disneyland 50th anniversary celebrations - almost all of them made it to Nanotech 2005, the Nano Science and Technology Institute (NSTI)’s eighth annual conference and trade show.

“We structure this conference so that we have a very large range of scientific content,” Matthew Laudon, NSTI co-founder and executive director for business development, told nanotechweb.org. “We had around 1200 submissions to the event this year and we work hard to have the industrial sectors that are the end-users of these technologies represented, ranging from electronics, materials, biotech, medical, and energy to defense.”
