Abstract:
The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) create a world-class measurement facility with unparalleled environmental controls—giving scientists a one-of-a-kind capability.
Spanning roughly 12 acres, the goal of the Advanced Measurement Laboratory (AML) at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Gaithersburg, Md., is to be, quite simply, the best measurement laboratory in the world.
