VU professor is a pioneer in big world of nanotechnology
Abstract:
Professor Douglas Tougaw is a scientist who doesn’t mind someone looking over his shoulder while he’s working.
He’s an instructor at Valparaiso University, as well as a researcher, who is as concerned with how new discoveries are used as he is with discovering them.
He’s proud to be a small thinker. His engineering specialty is nanotechnology — designing and building machines on the scale of one-billionth of a meter.
